Henley Business Angels Member Invests in GoodHub, a Digital Fundraising Platform Redefining Charitable Giving

GoodHub, a digital fundraising platform that elevates UK non-profits through its culture of giving for maximum impact, has received investment from one Henley Business Angels member, contributing towards a funding round of £353k, the majority of which was follow-on funding from existing investors, demonstrating the belief investors have in GoodHub’s offering.

In the UK, £13 million is donated to 200,000 charities each year, and 50% of that goes to the only 0.5% of UK charities – the ‘majors’. These ‘majors’ spend the least amount of money on charitable activities, opting to hold cash reserves over delivering on charitable aims. This leads to smaller charities being left behind, lacking in digital fundraising and communication skills, and less money available to spend on charitable activities that demonstrably improve wider society.

GoodHub is on a mission to disrupt this. By providing a complete one-stop shop, opening up opportunities to all 250k non-profits in the UK, whilst introducing transparency onto the platform, GoodHub will empower donors and fundraisers to support non-profits with maximum impact.

With zero platform fees and a transparent ‘fair fee’ model to generate revenue, GoodHub plan to use the funds raised to focus on developing the platform and boosting marketing to strengthen the opportunity for non-profits.
